We are looking forward to you joining us at Huddersfield. To help you settle in as quickly as possible, we’ve pulled together details of everything you’ll need to know to start your journey with us.

Pre-enrolment 

Things you need to do before and during your enrolment. 

When you need to start completing your Pre-Enrolment process, we’ll email you using the email address that you supplied on your application, a unique username and password to log-in to MyHud, our online portal.  You can access our help sheets to navigate through the system.

Things you need to do before you enrol

When you need to start completing the Pre-Enrolment process, we’ll email you a unique username and password to log-in to MyHud, our online portal.

Enrolment

Enrolment on your course is a formal requirement of joining the University of Huddersfield. You can find more information about this on our online portal, 'MyHud'. You will receive an email giving you details of how to access MyHud.

To fully complete your enrolment, you will do this in three stages:

Step 1: Login and upload a photo

Login with your unique username and password to upload a photo for your University Student ID card. Get started on your enrolment journey.

Step 2: Check your details

This stage will allow you to check and update your personal.

Step 3: Pay your fees

Check and confirm that your tuition fees have been paid prior to the start of your course.

Fees and finance

You will need to have a plan in place to pay your tuition fees before you can enrol*

Identity and eligibility to study check

We'll ask you to provide us with a copy of your passport or EU national identity card, together with any relevant visa documentation.

As a University of Huddersfield student, it’s important to understand the responsibilities you have both on campus and within the local community.

No matter where you’re living, we’re here to make sure you have the support and opportunities needed to fully enjoy your time at the University of Huddersfield. 

If you’re already a local to Huddersfield, you’ve got a fantastic head start. Don’t be shocked if newcomers to the town turn to you for advice as they find their feet and explore all we have to offer.
