We have an impressive record for graduate employment. 94.5% of our undergraduate and 94.8% of our postgraduate students go on to work and/or further study within six months of graduating (DLHE 2014/15). The University places a great deal of importance on industry experience. Huddersfield is a Top 10 University in England for work placement (HESA 14/15). 100% of our undergraduate students have the opportunity to undertake professional work-related experience during their studies. This includes placements, industry standard projects and real-world case studies.* Many of our courses give successful graduates professional body accreditation including, Law, Architecture, Psychology, Pharmacy, Accountancy, Chemistry, Engineering and Computing. We have invested in dedicated staff who work with international students which includes everything from getting a part-time job whilst they study to developing a global career.
Since 2010, £80 million has been spent on campus development, making sure our students have access to some of the best facilities in the country. Our campus also has a vibrant social scene and we have a very active Students’ Union with more than 110 clubs and societies.
