Your Students’ Union

Offering a wide range of social events, as well as being home to a massive range of clubs, societies and volunteering opportunities, your Students’ Union is led by students for students. We’re here to help you feel part of the Huddersfield community. You can follow your passion for sport, join one of our student societies or even get involved with running the Students’ Union itself.

The Students’ Union is fully independent from the University, which means we can support you through our Students’ Union Advice Centre and be your voice on campus.

Welcome to the Huddersfield Students’ Union. See how you could get involved!

A helping hand

We run a full-service Advice-Centre, located on Floor 5 of Student Central. The service is completely free for students and is entirely independent from the University. Our advisers will take the time to talk you through your options on any given subject, and help you explore what your next steps might be!

Introduction to the officer team

As a Students’ Union, we remain grounded in the principle that we are run by students for students. We aim to represent students in making student life better in a variety of ways.

Each Year our students elect 4 officers to represent the students of Huddersfield University
