A forest of freshers
Did you know that we aim to plant one tree for every student who chooses to study with us?
The University is working in partnership with White Rose Forest and Kirklees Council on an exciting project to reforest areas of land within the local community, over the next two years.
Staff and students at the university can also attend Tree planting sessions and contribute to project.
Carbon Neutral by 2030
Adopted by the University Council in November 2020, the plan reflects the University’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality across all areas of the University.
