Thank you for your interest in our politics course, unfortunately we have reviewed our provision and no longer offer this course.
However, you may be interested in one of our other social sciences or criminology courses which are designed to give you the flexibility to tailor your degree to the areas of study which interest you the most. For example, you’ll have wide choice of optional modules, many of which relate directly to aspects of politics or policy in key areas of social life including, health and wellbeing, human rights, gender, race, identity, housing, criminal justice, families and children, older people. In year 2 you’ll also have a work experience opportunity that is of your choosing, as well as a research project work in year 3, all designed by you to be related to your own career aspirations and skills development.
From our social science or criminology courses you can be prepared to access a range of careers. Our graduates have gone on to work in areas such as local government, local authority community projects, criminal justice sectors (including policing, probation and prisons), or gone on to further study for careers in academia, social work, or teaching, for example.
