Huddersfield is close to many northern cities. From Leeds and Manchester to Bradford, Sheffield or even Liverpool. When you study for an apprenticeship at the University of Huddersfield, you’re in reach of many NHS trusts.

Since 2018, 237 Nursing Associates have completed with a 100% pass rate.

National Health Innovation Campus

The National Health Innovation Campus is a seven-acre site being built in Huddersfield by the University. Its purpose is to enable the rapid expansion of courses in nursing, midwifery, allied health professions, leadership and human sciences.

The Campus will also deliver a major boost to regeneration of the town centre and jobs.

In 2024 the first building will be opened. It’s named after Daphne Steele, an inspirational nurse and midwife who became the first black matron in Britain.
