Our international collaborative teaching partnerships align with our vision and mission at Huddersfield Business School. Building on our strong heritage and regional links, our vision is to be internationally renowned for responsible management education, a high-quality learning environment, meaningful engagement with communities and organisations, and impactful research. Our mission is to undertake responsible teaching, research and enterprise that enable students to fulfil their academic, professional and personal potential, and that enrich the communities and organisations with which we interact.

We have three, long standing, education partnerships:

  • Hong Kong Management Association (since 2009)
  • Institute of Hotel Management (Aurangabad, India) (since 1996)
  • Sino- British College (Shanghai, China) (since 2006)

Our collaborative programmes are delivered in different ways but are all subject to the University’s quality assurance policies and mechanisms. The four Bachelor programmes at Hong Kong Management Association are delivered by Huddersfield Business School staff. The BA Events Management degree is franchised to Sino-British College (Shanghai) and all teaching takes place by local staff. The BA Hotel Management is designed and delivered by Institute of Hotel Management (Aurangabad) staff. Teaching staff at Sino-British College and Institute of Hotel Management are approved by Huddersfield Business School.

Though our international collaborative teaching partnerships have been established for a number of years, we continue to build these relationships. In 2021 we increased our interactions with our partners virtually in response to the restrictions on international travel resulting from the pandemic.
