Allotments

The University has three sets of allotments, located in different areas across the campus green space. Each allotment has a collection of planters which are available to Staff and Students for them to grow their own plants, flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables.

Allotment Locations

The locations of the planters are shown on the map below.

  • 11 planters on the Schwann Building, Level 4 rooftop
  • 11 planters on the Canal Side Woodland Walk (opposite the Lockside Building)
  • 4 planters behind the Joseph Priestley Building

All of the planters are accessible. Please see our Accessible campus map to see the various routes to the planters.
