Dr Joe Hopkinson
Lecturer in History
Joe is a historian at the University of Huddersfield. His research explores racism in schools and multicultural education. He produced the award-winning film Dispersing the Problem and recently published on race and education in contemporary Britain.
Dr Rebecca Gill
Reader in Modern History
Rebecca is Reader in Modern History and Director of the Centre for History, Culture and Memory at the Huddersfield. Her research explores humanitarianism, refugee history, women’s life writing, and craft in conflict. She co-leads multiple AHRC-funded projects.
Professor Sarah Bastow
Professor of Early Modern History
Prof. Sarah Bastow is a specialist in early modern history working on religious change in the sixteenth century. She has published on a range of topics including recusant and conformist history; gender and religion and socio-religious conflict.
