We are looking forward to welcoming you to the University. To help you transition into joining us, we’ve put together some useful information to give you a head start! This includes information about your part in your enrolment and other essential information, to support you on this journey.
Things you need know about your enrolment
When it is time to start completing the your part in the enrolment process, we’ll email you a unique username and password to log-in to MyHud, our online portal. The communication from us will be sent to the email address that you used on your application form, so please look out for this.
Enrolment
When it is time to start your part of the enrolment process, you will receive an email giving you details of how to access MyHud. Enrolment on your course is a formal requirement of joining the University of Huddersfield and you will find more information about this on our online portal, 'MyHud'.
To complete your part of the enrolment process, you will need to do the following:
Login and upload a photo
Login to MyHud with your unique email address and password, to upload a photo for your University Student ID card. Get started on your enrolment journey.
Check your details
This stage will allow you to check and update your personal.
Pay your fees
Check and confirm that your tuition fees have been paid prior to the start of your course.
What happens after you've completed your part in the enrolment process?
Once you’ve completed your part of the enrolment process, we’ll take care of the remaining checks to finalise everything. These checks usually take around 48 hours. As soon as they’re complete, we’ll send you an email confirming that you’re officially enrolled. After you receive your confirmation, you’ll be able to access your university timetable via MyHud, usually within 24 hours.
Fees and finance
You will need to have a plan in place to pay your tuition fees before you can enrol*
Identity and eligibility to study check
We'll ask you to provide us with a copy of your passport or EU national identity card, together with any relevant visa documentation.

The award-winning Global Professional Award (GPA) is an innovative programme designed to equip University of Huddersfield undergraduate students with the tools needed for success at university and to thrive in their chosen field after graduation*.
During the two years of this programme, you will develop key skills and knowledge in:

* While most full-time undergraduate students on a 3- or 4-year degree at Huddersfield are eligible, some exceptions do apply. These include, but are not limited to, students on franchise courses, at partner institutions, or on a postgraduate, foundation, top-up, apprenticeship, accelerated degree, or who transfer into the University at Intermediate level and those enrolled on the Aspire programme in School of Business, Education and Law.
