Don’t forget we have everything your feet need right here on campus at our Podiatry Clinic.
Foot Health Week is the perfect time to remember how much your feet do for you! The feet are miracles of engineering. They walk, run and jump thousands of times each day over different surfaces and inside a world of different shoes and socks. They stand in the rain waiting for the bus, give a playful prod to ask for another cup of tea, and take you spinning to the centre of the dance floor. But feet can go wrong and when that happens all of the above can become uncomfortable, painful or even not happen at all.
Foot Health week is all about raising awareness of the importance of having your feet checked regularly by a podiatrist. It is about sharing understanding of how the feet work and how you can keep them in good condition. This is a good opportunity to remember that the University has its very own podiatry clinic on campus. Why not refer yourself and have your feet checked? Our staff and students are on hand to assess your circulation, your musculoskeletal function and any aches or pains you have. We can solve many of these issues and give advice on how to look after your feet and what kind of footwear would be best for you.
If you would you like to make an appointment at the Podiatry Clinic, please complete the form and return to podiatry.clinic@hud.ac.uk and someone will be in touch to arrange an appointment.
