How to pay your deposit

The amount you are required to pay for your studies and your deposit will be detailed your Conditional Offer letter. You must pay this deposit in order to secure your place at the University of Huddersfield.

We offer specific payments options to you depending on which country you are paying from. You will be required to enter your applicant details in the first instance, and then you will be taken through to our payment platform, Flywire, where you can view the different payment options available to you and proceed to making your payment.

Recommended payment method

Our recommended method of payment is through credit or debit card, as this is the quickest way for your payment to be received into the University. This means that we can identify very quickly whether you have met the deposit condition of your offer. Additionally, if this is the final condition you are required to fulfil, it means we can proceed to your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) without any delays.

Setting up recurring payments for tuition fees

If you have a UK bank account, you also have the option when paying your deposit by card to set up your next payment instalment for your tuition fees. This means that you do not need to worry about paying your remaining balance of your tuition fees by the deadline, as this will be automatically taken from your account.  

This will help to ensure that you do not miss the payment deadline, and you can continue with your studies without any issues. You just need to ensure that you have sufficient money in the account to cover your fees ready for the payment to be taken.

Once you are in the UK and have set up your bank account, you can then set up the recurring payments for the remainder of your fees.

How to pay your fees as a current student

If you are a current student you can pay your fees securely online through our secure Payment Gateway using a credit or debit card, or over the phone (if using a UK bank account) via 01484 472210.

Please note that the University does not accept cash payments.

Payments by employers and sponsors

The employer or sponsor should provide the University with written confirmation on letter-headed paper of their payment of student tuition fees.

The letter should include the University student number, your full name, name of the course that you will be studying and the full invoice address. Where tuition and related fees are to be paid in part only, the amount to be paid by the employer or sponsor should be clearly stated. The letter should be sent to the University email address in your offer letter.

Employers and sponsors will be invoiced for the appropriate fee as soon as possible and the invoice will be payable within 28 days of the invoice date. We regret that we are unable to allow employers/sponsors to pay in instalments.
