There’s still time to apply to Huddersfield
Missed the January UCAS deadline? You can still apply to study with us in September 2026. Depending on your circumstances, you can do so in one of the following ways.
| Scenario | What you need to do |
|---|---|
| 1. I haven't used all five of my course choices in UCAS | Simply sign in to your application to add another course choice. You can do this before 30 June, as long as you haven't accepted or declined any offers. |
| 2. I have used all five of my course choices in UCAS but I am not holding any offers | You can apply to study with us via UCAS Extra if you have received decisions from all five choices, but either didn’t receive or declined any offers. Using UCAS Extra to add another choice is irreversible and you cannot return to your original five choices. UCAS Extra is open between 26 February 2026 and 1 July 2026. |
| 3. I haven't applied to university through UCAS yet | You can still apply for a place via UCAS up to 30 June and your application will be processed via the main UCAS scheme. If you apply after this date, your application will go straight into Clearing. |
- If you receive decisions from all your institutions by 13 May 2026 you need to reply by 03 June 2026 (except if you're using UCAS Extra to find a place).
- If you receive decisions from all your institutions by 15 July 2026, you need to reply by 22 July 2026 (including UCAS Extra choices).
- Applications received after 30 June 2026 are still considered up until the deadline – 24 September 2026.
- Last date to apply via UCAS Extra – 01 July 2026.
- Clearing opens – 02 July 2026.
