Language Courses at the University 2020-21

Today we live in a globalized business environment, and knowing a second language as a graduate is an ability that will make you stand out from the crowd.

Did you know that every student at our University is entitled to learn a foreign language for free?

If your course does not offer a foreign language as an optional module for 20 credits you can study a language alongside your course on the University’s Languages For All Programme.

We offer: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish as well as Professional English for non- native students and also British Sign Language at various levels. These are subject to availability.

The two-hour classes take place once a week during the first and second semester.

Apply online 

You will be asked to pay a fee of £75. However, this will be refunded after successfully passing the exams.
