By popular demand, the staff choir will be resuming in September. The Occupational Health Department has teamed up with students from the Department of Music and Drama to set up the choir for staff. Singing has been shown to deliver a host of physical and emotional benefits, including increased aerobic exercise, improved breathing, posture, mindset, confidence and self-esteem.
The choir was set up to give staff a positive, relaxed environment where they can unwind and have fun singing popular tunes. We have lots of enthusiastic singers, but are always open to new singers joining. There is no audition, and everyone is welcome to attend. This year we will be rehearsing on Tuesday lunchtimes (12.15–1.00pm) on campus, starting on Tuesday 24 September. The choir is free to attend and attendance will not be compulsory every week, but you won’t be able to keep away once you’ve started!
If you would like to join or would like some more information, please email Staff Wellbeing.
We hope to see you there!
