Thanks to our strong focus on sustainable development research and practice, Huddersfield Business School has been featured in a PRMEtime blog ‘Research Focus on Food – Huddersfield Business School’ that recognises the Schools contribution to sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported initiative to raise the profile of sustainability in Education institutions around the world, and to equip today's business students with the understanding and ability to deliver impactful change.

The PRME article features research activities from Huddersfield Business School academics on issues concerning the local, national and global food industry and its link to the Sustainable Development Goals. Key research contributions and projects from Professor Morven McEachern Professor Samir Dani, Professor Adrian Wood, Dr Fiona Cheetham and Dr John Lever were highlighted.

Looking forward, Huddersfield Business School has included sustainability within its mission and vision and will continue to conduct impactful and relevant research activities that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and develop further partnerships with responsible agri-food businesses. To support this Huddersfield Business School has aligned all of our postgraduate taught programmes against the Sustainable Development Goals and the UK's Industrial Challenges strategy to engage students with these impactful partnerships and research opportunities.
