Call for Workshops and presentations now open – closing date extended to  Friday 1 June.

Showcase your work in designing a diverse, inclusive curriculum in order to inspire future work.

Previous conferences have considered differential achievement, the composition of our student body and its implications for teaching and learning. This year’s conference focuses on how we can design curricula that enable all our students to feel they are fully represented. It will consider content, including reading materials and resources and will examine how we can develop more inclusive teaching strategies and methods.

This is a call for submissions to deliver one of a series of workshops and presentations that showcase work that has already been achieved in designing a diverse, inclusive curriculum in order to inspire future work.
If you have practice to share, within the following themes, we would like to hear from you with examples of, for instance:

  • Inclusion in content, teaching and learning, assessment, feedback
  • Reading lists that clearly represent diversity
  • Choice in the curriculum (for example in assessment)
  • Co-creation of modules (involving students)
  • Multi-disciplinary modules
  • Other (within overall conference theme)

Please complete the Conference Call Form and return to tlconf2018@hud.ac.uk by midnight on Friday 1 June.

A brief for the full day will be distributed at a later date, along with a link to enable booking.
