Poor Weather Conditions

In light of the poor weather conditions the campus will close at 4.15pm today (Thursday 1 March).   If you are anxious about your journey home and wish to leave earlier please discuss this with your line manager, but please note that as usual and to ensure equitable practice across the University, any staff absent or leaving earlier than this closure time will be allowed to work additional hours to make up any time lost to avoid any reduction in salary or, where appropriate, use accrued flexitime or annual leave.  This also applies to staff who are absent due to school closures. 

A decision about whether the University will be open tomorrow (Friday 2 March) will be made later today and posted on our web homepage  and on University of Huddersfield Facebook and University of Huddersfield Twitter @huddersfielduni  no later than 9.00pm this evening.
