Bold leap sees Huddersfield Business School Sports Promotion and Marketing Graduate, Grace Lenihan, accept game changing role as Marketing and Communications Manager at renowned local charity, Huddersfield Community Trust.

Since leaving Huddersfield Business School, Grace secured a 12-month contract with global sports brand, Adidas, as a Brand Activation Graduate Intern. Grace worked with international sports retailers, Pro:Direct Sport and Sports Direct, to launch key brand campaigns and was involved with the re-launch of the brand’s iconic Predator football boots.

At the Huddersfield charity, Grace will focus on developing and implementing a new marketing strategy. Grace commented: “I’ve known Lisa for a number of years now and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to re-join the team. I’m thrilled to be moving to an in-house role and putting my passion for sports to good practice within a local community that’s going from strength to strength.”

Lisa Hewitt, CEO of HCT commented: “I am very excited about our new appointment. Grace worked for the trust back in 2016 and created a great relationship with all staff. I know she will fit back into the team really well. Grace is extremely passionate about the trust and our developments for 2018. We have an exceptionally eventful year ahead as we have reached our tenth birthday. We are hopeful to celebrate in style in July with heaps of activity going on, both at The Zone and in the community.”
