Schools and college group visits

At the University of Huddersfield, we know there is no substitute to visiting a university to get a real feel for what they are like. Open days can help your students find out about the courses and facilities, and also get a feel for the atmosphere, culture and extra opportunities on offer.

Free transport to our Open Days

We want to make it easier for you to bring groups of your students to our Open Days. For all our 2018 Open Days we are offering to cover the cost of your coach/minibus to and from the University*. *Please note that minimum attendance numbers apply.

Booking for the Open Day

We encourage students to individually register online before the day. This will allow them to book on the subject talks and tours that they’re interested in and personalise their day. A lot of popular presentations and tours have maximum numbers, by pre-booking your students can rest assured that they’ll have a place on the talk or tour they want to go along to.

A personalised booking link will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking. Please ensure that students who are attending the event sign up using this link. This will allow us to quickly check you in as one group upon your arrival.

Teachers and advisers

Whilst your students are busy exploring, you can either sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy lunch on us, or join them in finding out more about the campus and our courses.
