Courses to help you prepare for study

If you do not meet the University’s direct entry requirements, you may be able to study a preparatory course offered by Study Group. They offer a range of pathway programmes through the International Study Centre (ISC), located on the University of Huddersfield campus.

On successful completion of your preparation programme and achieving the required grades, you will progress automatically onto your chosen degree course at the University, without having to apply again.

Meet Bashar from Kuwait

"The overall study structure of the ISC is great. I was in small classes, so I found it easy to make friends. Every term there's something new you look forward to, and that made it easy for me to learn the course content.

"I think being an ISC student before you start your degree is a great way to get a feel for studying at the University. It made it so much easier when I was transitioning onto my undergraduate course; I knew the University, I knew the whole campus, I had some great friends already."
