What is our Routes into Teaching event?

If you're a current undergraduate student thinking about training to teach after you graduate, our event will help you access the information you need. The event will cover training to teach in the early years, primary education, secondary education and the post-14 lifelong learning sector.

The event typically is a drop-in information fair with representatives from our University-led training routes, School Direct partners and Student Finance team.

A note about keeping our campus safe:

Current Government guidance suggests you take a lateral flow test before attending busy events, and to download the NHS Covid-19 app to help keep yourself and others safe. We request all attendees to wear a face covering while inside our campus buildings, unless medically exempt. We will only admit attendees into the event once checked in upon arrival. We will be monitoring the number of people in the room to ensure the room is not over-crowded at any time. If the room has reached capacity when you arrive, we may ask you to wait to enter until numbers in the room have decreased.

You should not attend the event if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, are required to be in self-isolation or are generally feeling unwell. If that is the case, we ask that you amend or cancel your booking. We will update you, via this webpage and by email if registered, if the guidance changes.
