Events
- The grand opening of Science and Technology Innovation Confucius Institute at the University of Huddersfield is scheduled for February 15, 2022, which is the Chinese lantern festival. There will be Chinese culture performances, activities and workshops, lighting and firework display.
- Online Winter Camp with Beijing Language and Culture University. An online winter Olympic theme brings together this seven-day exploration of the culture and language. You can take part in language exchanges and participate in virtual tours of areas such as Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. Tentatively scheduled from March 10 2021
- Online Workshop for Global Young Sinologists: hosted by Beijing Language and Culture University. Get to know contemporary China, with Chinese language sessions on online excursions, as well as online lectures. A collection of the most outstanding work from this workshop will be published. Tentatively scheduled from March 15 to March 21 2021
- China and the EU: hosted by Beijing Language and Culture University. A seven-day programme covering themes across diplomacy, economy and trade, health, work and education. Tentatively scheduled for March 2021
Spring Festival Event 2023
The Chinese New Year evening Gala organized by CSSA and International Office was successfully held on January 24. Students from various countries performed wonderful performances for the audience. The Confucius Institute is more than happy to be part of this great event.
