About the Department

The Department of Health Sciences offers a range of courses that equip student to work in the health care sector, as well as other roles concerned with public health and well-being. We have cutting edge teaching and learning facilities and high quality placement provision which will provide you with the skills and experience to thrive within the modern health care sector. Many of our courses are available to overseas students. Our expanding research and enterprise activities in Health Sciences are focused around improving self-management of health, psychological therapies and public health interventions. The Department is home to the Centre for Applied Health Research.
