About the Department

The Department of Behavioural and Social Sciences offers a range of courses around social work and social care, and in the broad area of the social sciences. Its research and enterprise activities focus on the applied study of human behaviour, and the Department is home to the Centre for Applied Childhood Youth and Family Research and the Centre for Citizenship, Conflict, Identity & Diversity.
