Student Consultancy Projects

We recruit for organisations to take part all year round.

Month	Activity
September - January	Client briefs are submitted, finalised and needs analysis is scoped out
April	Launch Day takes place where students find out which organisation they are paired with
May - August	Students have 4 months to work with the clients on their project
September	Clients are invited into the Huddersfield Business School for the students' presentation on their findings and a business report including recommendations is sent to the organisation

Our student consultancy projects offer tailored, practical solutions to address your organisation’s current business challenges or opportunities. The valuable insights and recommendations gained can be used for future planning and implementation. The students also benefit from real-life consultancy experience, and being able to apply the theory they've learnt in the classroom to the world of work.

We’re actively seeking projects for a wide range of MSc students studying Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics, Human Resources, Finance, Logistics and more. Previous projects in the past have covered:

The initial meeting is arranged by the students and a site visit is usually involved. We recommend you have regular contact with the students throughout the project duration, to answer questions and ensure they are on track.

At the end of the project, you'll receive a report with the students' findings and be invited for their final presentation to offer your comments and feedback.
