New: Single Sign on for ASIS and Evision
We’re letting you know about a change to the way you access ASIS and Evision production environments.
From Thursday 17th July 2025, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) will be enabled on your account for ASIS.

From this date, there will be a new icon for ASIS with “(MFA)” in the name. Please use this icon going forward when logging in to ASIS. We will leave the old ASIS icon available for a two week transitionary period (until Thursday 31st July 2025) so that you will still be able to use ASIS if you encounter problems with the ASIS MFA icon. If you do encounter issues with the new MFA icon please let the IT Service Desk know as soon as possible.
When using the ASIS MFA icon you will be prompted to use the University MFA login system instead of the username and password you have been using previously. If you are already signed in to Remote, SSO means that you will be logged into ASIS directly without needing to enter your credentials.
MFA is an important safeguard against account hijacking and helps to keep your account and University systems secure.
You can find out more about MFA in Multi-factor Authentication - Self-Service Portal
This change will also bring the user experience in line with other University systems.
