Other activities on campus during South Asian Heritage Month

18 July - 17 August

Explore South Asian Heritage Archives'

Monday 21 July, 2-4pm, Heritage Quay

Join the team at Heritage Quay to explore some of the treasures of the archives in this free drop-in session. From experimental music to beautiful textiles, to important oral histories, there will be a wide range of material that illuminates South Asian history and heritage. The team will be on hand to talk about the collections in more detail and share the ways that they can be used for research, as inspiration, or for personal interest.

What does SAHM mean to you?

We would like to hear from our University community about what SAHM, and this year’s theme, means to you: Share your experience and perspective this South Asian Heritage Month.

Food for body and mind!

International Kitchen will be serving South Asian dishes from 18 July – 7 August (see @huddersfood socials for more information), and the Library will be featuring books by South Asian authors throughout the month: SAHM Reading List. If you have any further suggestions, you can share them here: Broaden My Bookshelf | Library Services / Help Us Improve Your Campus Food!
