School’s Out! hcmf// Summer Holiday Workshops 2025
hcmf// is partnering with Kirklees Council to offer three exciting music-making opportunities for young people in school years 7 – 11 (ie. aged 11 – 16) during the summer holiday, all taking place at the University of Huddersfield:
Mon 28 - Tue 29 July: Live Music Production (2-day course)
Wed 6 - Thu 7 August: Introduction to the recording studio (2-day course)
Tue 26 - Fri 29 August: Music for Film (4-day course)
Each course provides an excellent opportunity to take part in hands-on, creative music-producing experiences led by industry professionals. We are offering 10 places free of charge on each programme for young people in receipt of free school meals. A handful of places for other high school pupils are available, priced at £13.50 per 2-day programme / £27 per 4-day programme. All places include a hot lunch provided by the University of Huddersfield’s on-campus canteen.
