Open Day Parking
Wednesday 15 January is an Open Day, which means there will be no staff parking available on the day in Firth Street Car Park and Southgate (Daphne Steele) (other than for blue badge holders). Parking in those two car parks will be offered to our visitors (other than for those staff who use disabled parking bays and have a blue badge). If you usually park on either of those sites you will need to make alternative arrangements for that, and as usual you can claim back reasonable costs of alternative parking through the staff expenses procedure.
If you have a parking permit for any other of the University car parks, you will still be able to use your space that day.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but offering parking to our visitors is something that makes a big difference to their open day experience.
Thank you in advance for your help in showing our potential students and their families around the campus, and informing them about our courses. We always receive many compliments after recruitment events and they are really valued by our visitors as they make their decisions about where to study.
