Global Campus Events 

 

A new term of events is planned. 

 

The University’s Global Campus Events team are planning many more events on campus this term. All staff working with students are encouraged to share these events and social channels with students to help with promotional coverage. 

These events are FREE and open to ALL students both home and international and are largely based in Central Lounge events space, inside Student Central building or in the evening in the Oastler building.  

 

Upcoming events: 

• 24 January: Indian Cultural event, hosted by the Indian society in OA4/01, 5.30pm 

• 28 January: Meet the Global Societies, Central Lounge, 11.00am – 2.00pm, a great opportunity to meet some of the societies and find out how to get involved and what they have coming up. 

• 30 January: Vietnamese Tet, Lunar New Year Celebrations, hosted by the Vietnamese society in OA4/01, 5.30pm 

• 4 February: Spring Festival celebrations, Central Lounge, 11.00am – 2.00pm, oriental activities and fun promised. 

• 4 February: Chinese Evening Gala, (evening) OA4/01 hosted by the Chinese society, the annual show is one of the biggest events on campus. 

• 24-28 February: Global Week 2025 - many events across campus.
