LGBT+ History Month 2025

This February we join education providers and organisations across the UK in celebrating LGBT+ History Month.

For the past 20 years, UK LGBT+ History Month has celebrated the remarkable contributions and achievements of LGBT+ individuals throughout history in all areas of life. It has created a dedicated space to celebrate a rich and diverse history, herstory, theirstory, and contributed to the work of Schools Out (the founders) to #educateOUTprejudice and usualise LGBT+ lives so that all LGBT+ people feel safe, seen, and supported.

The theme this year is Activism and Social Change recognising the many LGBT+ people who have been activists and helped shape and create social change, advancing society for everyone.
