Apprenticeship Awards 2025

The University of Huddersfield Apprenticeship Awards 2025

The Centre for Apprenticeships are pleased announce that applications are open for the University of Huddersfield Apprenticeship Awards 2025. Established in 2022, the awards are designed to recognise the successes and achievements of our apprentices and employers over the past 12 months.

The university currently delivers apprenticeships to over 600 learners across the Yorkshire and Humber region. Among the winners last year in the employer categories were Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the WomenCentre Kirklees.

As well as recognising the successes of all our apprenticeship stakeholders, the awards also give a chance to acknowledge the outstanding Ofsted rating awarded to the university. Where, as well as the quality of education, inspectors praised the apprentices themselves for having very positive attitudes to their learning.

Categories for voting are open to both apprentices, academics and employers and the closing date for nominations is the 31 March 2025. All nominations will be anonymised and judged by a panel of colleagues from across the university. All winners will be invited to a ceremony held at the University in June.
