ENGAGE: Legal - Out of Office Plan

This year, the Legal Team is officially out of office - but not in the "on the beach with an out-of-office reply" sense. 

We've launched our new Legal: Out of Office (But Still Working) plan - a year-long push to get out from behind our desks, meet more of you face-to-face, and build stronger connections across the University. 

Here's how you can get involved: 

Coffee Drop-Ins

We're taking Legal on the road (well, across campus). Starting in January, each week, a member of the team (or two) will be stationed at Starbucks in Students Central for a relaxed Legal Drop-In. It's your chance to grab a coffee, ask a quick question, or just put a face to the name behind the LCM. 

Shadowing and Job Swaps

Ever wondered what life in Legal is really like? Or fancy showing us what you do? We're inviting colleagues to take part in a job swap or shadowing day - a great way to learn how our different worlds connect (and to help us give advice that actually fits yours).

Legal Training Hub

Our brand-new Legal Training Packages are now live and bookable through the intranet. From contract essentials to data protection and IP basics, the sessions are short, practical and refreshingly jargon-free.
