Reviews and Partnerships Team - Link Officer Responsibility
The Reviews and Partnerships team has created a new Link Officer responsibility to offer additional support to Collaborative Provision partners and Designated Academic Liaison Officers (DALOs). This will be effective from September 2025. The new area of responsibility will:
- Provide a link and extra support for partner institutions and DALOs.
- Signpost the DALO and partner to any University services or staff as required.
- Identify problematic areas such as affiliate accounts for staff at partner institutions or help to address issues with courses that fall outside the usual University parameters.
- Ensure new partners and DALOs have made links with computing and library services (and any other relevant service) to induct any partner teaching staff, where appropriate.
- Ensure courses are set up following validation and approval.
- Ensure DALO visits take place during the first year of a new partnership, signposting any guidance.
- Facilitate and attend Annual Executive meetings.
- Circulate Regulation updates to the DALO (and partner) along with any other University updates.

The team will be contacting all DALOs and Collaborative Provision partners in early September to make introductions and explain the new function.
