WOVEN 2025 NEEDS YOU!

Volunteer at WOVEN 2025 and be part of something creative and inspiring! We're looking for volunteers – there’s a role for you!

WOVEN is a biennial festival that began in 2019, with the next big event in summer 2025.

It is initiated by Kirklees Council, but is owned by everyone, including community groups, textile businesses, cultural and educational organisations, artists and heritage sites across the district.

WOVEN’s theme is generations of innovators, connecting a strong heritage with today’s innovative developments in industry, university research, a strong arts and crafts scene and the creative expression of the district’s rich and diverse communities.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring this year’s exciting programme to life throughout June. Whether you're into textiles, events, or community vibes – there’s a role for you!

Volunteer roles include:

•   Supporting workshops and creative sessions
•   Event set-up and stewarding
•   Gathering feedback from participants
•   Data input and helping us understand the impact of the festival
