University Equality Charters Survey

University Equality Charters Survey – we welcome hearing about your experiences, suggestions and ideas

The University is committed to providing an inclusive learning and working environment in a culture of mutual respect and dignity, where all staff and students are valued for their contribution and able to reach their full potential.

The Athena SWAN Gender Equality Charter and the Race Equality Charter provide frameworks to assist the university in the design, planning and implementation of changes to achieve this aim. These changes include development of policies, practices and systems as well as cultural change.

In support of our commitment to continuous improvement, the University Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Enhancement Committee would like to hear about your experiences at the University, particularly in respect to gender and race equality, via our online survey.

Why take part

This survey is part of a wider piece of work looking to understand the working practices and culture of the University. By taking part you are adding to the knowledge of the University and your contributions are valuable in helping us to identify areas for improvement, and ways to make those improvements.

Data security and anonymity

All data will be held confidentially in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. At no point will the information you provide be shared in a way that would enable you to be personally identified. Any published material will be anonymised.
