Annual Leave Purchasing Scheme

 

The University is committed to help staff achieve a healthy work-life balance. It is recognised that there may be times when some members of staff may wish to take more than the standard contractual entitlement of annual leave.

The University is therefore piloting an annual leave purchasing scheme. The scheme is operated on a salary sacrifice basis whereby staff can exchange salary in return for additional annual leave. The maximum amount you can purchase is 37 hours, pro-rated for part-time staff.

The scheme is now open for enrolment until Friday 15 March 2024 for eligible university staff. Full scheme details, including eligibility, can be found within the scheme guide and FAQS. Any requests to purchase additional leave should be made through MyHR.
