Vevox Classroom Response Software – coming soon
Vevox is coming soon. You can use it to build a range of styles of questions into your lectures to increase student engagement, reset attention spans, allow everybody to take part and make sure the whole class is on the same page before you move on. You can do much more than multiple choice, other options include word clouds, text response, ranking, rating and numeric question types.
We know that many colleagues were using services like Mentimeter's free version, but recent restrictions have made it unsuitable for larger classes. Because Vevox is an officially supported University platform, we will be able to do so much more with it:
- Integrations with PowerPoint and Teams for seamless presentations,
- Non-anonymous polls that are GDPR compliant,
- Send quiz results to Brightspace for low-stakes and scaffolded assessment.
