Removing barriers to learning for students with Visual and Hearing Impairments

Join us and learn about the barriers that students with hearing and visual impairments face when accessing information, learning in lectures and studying online. This workshop will recommend adjustments and inclusive strategies so that we can help every student reach their full potential.
This workshop will help you:
- Recognise the primary characteristics of students with Visual and Hearing Impairments.
- Understand the barriers to learning and studying that these students face.
- Implement inclusive strategies to meet the needs of these students.
- Recommended Assistive Technologies to support students with these sensory impairments.
- Produce digital content that is accessible to all.
