Public lecture: Life with mito – a family’s story

We are delighted to share details of the upcoming public lecture to be given by Michael Ginger, Professor of Biological Sciences, and Christine Beal, Co-founder and Chair, My Mito Mission.

Imagine living life on a low battery that cannot be charged… This is the challenging situation for individuals with ‘mito’, one of the more common, albeit still little-known genetic conditions. The discussion will include unexpected insight brought from research here in Huddersfield and our lecture follows swiftly on the heels of September’s World Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week 2023.

Venue:             Bronte Lecture Theatre

Time:               6 pm – 7 pm (refreshments from 5.30 pm)
