Holocaust Centre North is based on the University campus, on Level 2 of the Schwann Building. It hosts a permanent exhibition Through Our Eyes which is about 16 children and young people who survived Nazi persecution across Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. They came to the North of England as refugees or survivors of the Holocaust, settled and made new lives here. It also hosts temporary exhibitions throughout the year as well as events, and hosts student work placements. It is open Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, you can see the Sunday programme here.
