Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, this annual campaign is an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. The theme for 2023 is 'Anxiety'.
Anxiety is one of the most common mental health problems we can face. In a recent mental health survey, a quarter of adults said they felt so anxious that it stopped them from doing the things they want to do some or all of the time. Six in ten adults feel this way, at least some of the time. But anxiety can be made easier to manage.
Tips to help cope with anxiety
If we don’t know how to cope with our feelings of anxiety, they can get out of control and stop us from doing the things we need or want to do. The more often and the longer we feel anxious, the more it can become a problem.
Dealing with anxiety can be hard. But there are some things we can do to manage these tough feelings. Read the Mental Health Foundation guide to what we can do to cope with feelings of anxiety.
