Menopause Talk and Support Panel: Smashing the Stigma
Monday 13th March
12:00pm-13:00pm
Hybrid event (attendees can join through Teams)
The McClelland Suite, Floor 7, Schwann Building
A chance to ask questions, share experiences, discuss support mechanisms, and smash the stigma!
This event will be an in-conversation style panel, made up of members of the Staff Wellbeing Menopause Talk and Support Group. It provides an opportunity to share and build on some of the conversations within the group, whilst helping to educate others, and raise awareness of the realities of the menopause.
Although this event is brought to you by members of the Menopause Talk and Support Group, everyone is welcome to attend! The discussion will be helpful to all staff and students, and we encourage the attendance of Line Managers, partners of those who are going through the menopause, or anyone who wishes to learn more about the symptoms and realities of those experiencing it.
This event is part of our 2023 Inclusion Week line up. You can access the full range of events here.
Inclusion Week at the University of Huddersfield is organised in partnership with the Students’ Union to raise awareness and celebrate the diversity of our University community. Join us for a week of events (online and in person) to highlight a broad spectrum of inclusion topics.
All events are open to both students and staff.
