PGR conference 2023 staff involvement
We are pleased to announce that the keynote speaker for the PGR Conference is Marina Soares da Silva.
Marina is a postdoctoral researcher at the Francis Crick Institute in the Ancient Genomics Group (skoglundlab.org). She uses ancient DNA recovered from human remains found in diverse archaeological contexts to study the genetics of past populations in Britain. Marina is a Huddersfield alumnus who developed her PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof Martin Richards in the Archaeogenetics Research Group, in the School of Applied Sciences.
Marina will be speaking on 30 March, the first day of the conference.

We are looking for volunteers to assist on both days of the conference. There are a range of roles available, from hosting, to being on the welcome desk, to providing general guidance and support. The deadline for signing up is 13 March.
