International Women’s Day at the University of Huddersfield
Career Pathways – What I know now!
Wednesday 8th March 2023 16:00pm-17:00pm
Online Event (MS Teams)
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, the University of Huddersfield invites you to join our panel discussion on Career Pathways – What I know now!
We are bringing together a panel of women staff from the University of Huddersfield and the University of Leeds to discuss their career history and answer questions from the audience around career progression and promotion.
The theme of this event arose from recommendations arising from the Academic Career Progression focus groups and discussion within the Women’s Staff Network around doing more to ‘promote our promotions’. We are hoping that this event will help others ‘to be what they see’ and have the opportunity to learn more about career progression from those recently promoted.
This event is open to all staff and students. Book your tickets now via Eventbrite.
We welcome and encourage attendees to submit any questions they have in advance to Olivia Briddon. Although we will do our best to answer everyone’s question, we cannot guarantee all questions will be discussed during the event due to time limitations.
Learn more about the event by visiting the Eventbrite page.
