Calling all Colleagues!
Stonewall Workplace Equality Index Staff Survey 2022 – Closing Soon!
The University became a member of the Stonewall Global Diversity Champions programme in 2019. We are committed to supporting our Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, non-binary and Queer (LGBTQ+) University community and providing an inclusive and welcoming staff and student experience. The University participates in the Workplace Equality Index which is an important benchmarking tool that enables us to assess our progress on LGBTQ+ equality, demonstrate evidence of our achievements and highlight areas where there is still room for improvement.
Your data in action:
This survey is part of a wider piece of work looking to understand the culture of the University of Huddersfield and how we advance LGBTQ+ Equality. As part of our Workplace Equality Index submission, staff are invited to fill in a survey seeking views about how we support the LGBTQ+ community. Regardless of your sexuality, by taking part you are helping us to understand to hear your views and experiences on LGBTQ+ equality. The survey questions are around key indicators of inclusion in the workplace – examining both LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+ employee views and experiences, opinions, and attitudes. Your views will help us to identify areas for improvement and used to inform and indicate the impact of our policies and practices, establishing the University’s future priorities and initiatives to develop more inclusive services and provision.
This survey takes about five minutes to complete and is open to all staff. The information you provide is entirely anonymous - it will go directly to Stonewall’s workplace team and not here to the University. Once your feedback is collected and analysed, only aggregated scores are shared with us.
