Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Huddersfield.
Officers were called to Storthes Hall Park Student Village, in Kirkburton at around 8.30am yesterday (Wednesday, 28 September) to reports that a Toyota Prius had been in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 19-year-old female student, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. They remain in hospital in a critical condition.
Police from the Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened. They are also keen to see if anyone has any dash cam footage to come forward.
