World Autism Acceptance Week 28 March – 3 April 2022

World Autism Acceptance Week is an opportunity to draw attention to the 700,000 people living with autism in the UK and to encourage awareness and education about the condition.

What is Autism?

Autism, or Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioural challenges, affecting how people with the condition communicate and interact with the world.  Autism is considered a spectrum condition as it affects people differently and to varying degrees.
