E-Bike Test Ride Event

We are pleased to inform you that as promised the E-bike test ride event on campus has been rearranged for Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 July. We have partnered up with local community group Environment Projects in Kirklees (EPIPS) to offer free E-bike trial sessions on campus later this month. We know that there is a huge demand for E-bikes among our staff and we hope that this trail event, alongside the increased Cycle2Work limit will enable more of you to access E-bikes and to become familiar with cycling to work.

This trail event will also give you the opportunity to learn about the new E-bike hire scheme where University staff will be able to hire an e-bike from EPIKS free of charge for a short period that will launch next year. Following your hire period, you will also be given the option to extend your hire period at a reduced cost. Full details will follow soon.

EPIKS will be on the Plaza with the E-bikes between 10.00am-5.00pm on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 July for you to find out more and test ride. The event is open to all University staff, including those of you working from home, we just ask that you book your slot using the link below and receive a negative test result prior to attending campus, following the same protocols as though you were attending campus for work.
